January 2023 News & Events

Happy New Year! The Massachusetts Municipal Association’s Annual Meeting and Trade Show returns on January 20-21, 2023, as an in-person event. Be sure to stop by our booth #1021 and say hello. Donna M. Brewer will once again be a panelist on the ever-popular workshop “Hot Topics in Municipal Law.” The workshop is on Friday January 20 at 2 pm in Room 200; please join her and her fellow presenters.

Christopher Brown was recently named a Certificate Holder by the Association of Workplace Investigators (AWI) after successfully passing all assessments for the 2022 AWI Virtual Training Institute. The AWI Virtual Training Institute is an ANSI accredited certificate program that consists of eight days of training and two days of testing. Participants take a series of three tests to assess their knowledge of the materials taught, interviewing skills, and analysis and report writing skills. Students who achieve passing scores on each assessment receive a certificate and the ability to use the certificate designation of AWI-CH, Association of Workplace Investigators Certificate Holder. The firm is proud of Chris’s achievement and is certain that his training will be of value to its clients. Congratulations Chris!
